RO welcomes new Trustees

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

We are delighted to announce that, from 1st June, two new Trustees have joined the Rehearsal Orchestra’s Board of Management. Zoë McMillan and Edward Kershaw bring with them a wealth of experience to complement the Board’s collective skills set, as well as decades of experience of the amateur orchestral scene.

Zoë is a retired Chartered Building Surveyor who specialised in the conservation of historic buildings, and who has served on the Sussex Historic Churches Trust and the Diocesan Advisory Committees of Rochester and Chichester. Zoë was a stalwart of RO’s bassoon section for many years, hanging up her crook about four years ago.

Ned followed two music degrees with a career in the classical record industry (including producing and editing a Gramophone Record of the Year). He has experience of a broad range of roles and different industries, most recently of the commercial operations of technology companies in the music and market research sectors. He is also a Trustee of Help Musicians (aka Musicians' Benevolent Fund), and of the Teddington Landmark Arts Centre. Ned is a welcome recent recruit to the viola section at RO.
